State Wide Service – Quick turnaround-no additional travel fees. We provide Texas accessibility solutions for all design challenges.
I have found over the years its best to keep it simple. The prices are for all of my work, including plan reviews, Inspections and any consulting or phone conversations you want to have. I also include any of you sub- contractors questions. I would rather take a little more time to get everything right so the inspection passes the first time through.
Most of my tenant finish outs, restaurants, offices, warehouses are $875 to $975. My larger complete new buildings, plants, manufacturing facilities, Malls and larger hotels are $1200.

What makes a good RAS (Registered Accessibility Specialist)?
Jeff Gutknecht has all the qualifications to be a great choice to assist your company with all your TAS compliance requirements.
- Education – Associates degree and BS degree for NTSU
- Experience – 22 Years in the construction field as a Sub contractor and GC, and the owner of three different companies. In short I worked my way through college by working in the construction field as well as working an inspector. After graduating I worked as a city inspector for a short while before starting my first roofing and remodeling company. In my mid 20’s I starting a commercial Concrete company that I ran for 22 years, Tops MH Construction Company. During that time I also had a company that build residential homes. This led me into building commercial buildings in the latter 1990 and early 2000 years. After selling my company in 2002 I spent a little time giving back by working in Florida and New Orleans doing storm damage estimating for FEMA. I found the opportunity to become a RAS through building my own commercial buildings and decided that there was room for RAS’s to become more involved with the projects and to do a better job for the Architects and builders.
- Common sense – combining education with years of experience and being involved with many different challenges and the ability to work as a team has shaped our company into respecting you as a customer
- Knowledge – You can only gain this required knowledge through combining education, work experiences and having the common sense to use what you have learned over the years to better serve our customers.
A good customer of mine responded to a plan reviews: Thank you for your brevity of the report; it is refreshing to not have to sort through the minutia that some other RAS’s have included in the past.
Brevity: The condition of being short and brief; the quality of expressing much in a few words.
